Technical Manager- Ethnic Wear
Experience: 10-12 years in Garment Technology
Should be familiar with Ethnic fits, patterns, tech packs, sealing samples etc.
This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas: LFL (Like For Like) Growth

In order to achieve this job responsibility the person executes the ‘Technology’ process:
Develops the base blocks as per the trends for fits & specs standardization and provides technical inputs for the same.
Ensures fit evaluations & final sample approvals / sealing for all the categories handled by the technology team. Undertakes fit evaluations, by conducting fit reviews with the buying department.
Ensures standardization of fit /spec and maintains consistency across all brands.
Ensures sample evaluation and documentation w.r.t. blue sealer and silver sealer.
Coordinates with the vendor & buying department for sample related issues and resolving the same, whenever required.
Provides technical inputs for new development samples in order to ensure accurate fits & specs.
Discusses, resolves & updates the fit/pattern/quality/workmanship related issues to the relevant vendors / regional QAs, buyers and sourcing officers to assure the bulk production is corrected and followed.
Ensures technical specification writing for style creations.
Ensures on-time sealer approvals by monitoring the on-time sealer approval process to achieve timely delivery of all the brands.
Analysis customer return products, feedback & complaints and brainstorms on an action plan, in order to ensure a reduction of customer returns at store level for quality issues.
Risk Analysis – Ensures the category performance.
Guides the regional QA / sourcing team / vendors on technical specifications & product quality performance.
Guides vendors on current technical capabilities, production system implementation v/s expectation to provide the inputs to sourcing team for their strategic planning.
Assists the seniors for visiting the regional office and the vendors for system process follow-up, if required.
Visits the stores for understanding & improving the product quality and its performance.
